Alpenrose - Familux Resort

We had the pleasure of staying here for one night for my husband's birthday and had the best time. Everything you could possibly need was catered for and more! Our 18-month-old had a blast exploring and playing and we felt very relaxed. Great food, wonderful facilities, beautiful location and super thoughtful little touches. I loved the fact that we could eat meals at the hotel and use all the facilities before our room was ready from 8am on check in day and until 5pm after we checked out, so we effectively got two days for the price of one night. Would highly recommend.

For the family with infants to 10y, there is no place like this. I’ve never seen a place such as this for a family nor can I find one, not even Disney compares. I was surprised at the number of families from America here. But then there were people from all over. The hotel is really all inclusive. They even have sleds, ski lessons for the kids, sleigh rides with horses, gaming centers, virtual, reality rooms, etc. Just cannot list it all

The room is almost perfect, only the wall is a bit too thin. You can hear your neighbour coughing and child crying. The service is superb! Impress with the check-in service: from the luggage delivery (from our car to the room) and the hotel tour. Restaurant service is also good. The dinner (3 or 4 course menu) comes fast as a small kid can't sit too long on the dinner table. Menu selection is superb! So far, it is the best buffet in my experience. Lots of Play Grounds options - indoor and outdoor, as well as kids theme pool. Easy to entertain the kids. Location - perfect if you do ski. There is a ski lift across the street. I guess on the summer also possible for hiking.

Update: After a year living in Germany and staying in 5 different kinderhotels, this one claims top of the 5. Kids club: Three separate areas (creche, minis, and pre/teens). The overall management of the kids area was very good and probably the most professional of the 5 hotels. No requirement to let them know the day before and no fee. Room: Really nice, cladded in wood on all walls, really enhanced the alpine charm. Food: The best food, if you are a "foodie," this is likely the closest you can get in the kinderhotel experience. They have kids club lunch and dinners (not all kinderhotels do). Drinks: Nothing remarkable here. Bit the constant availability and centrality of the free non-alcoholic drinks was great. Spa: I was blown away by there sauna and steam room complex... 8 or maybe 9 different rooms. But, the treatments across all kinderhotels were pretty much the same. Nothing amazing, but it's still nice to have. Special Amenities: A kids bunny hill with magic carpet in front of the pool area. Free diapers throughout and phenominal changing stations and fully stocked baby kitchen. Playgrounds: Multiple outside & inside (including a large softplay), a large climbing wall area, an "American Gladiators" style soft ball gun zone, VR room, and a game wall that will get anyone to sweat. Pool: You could come here for the kids' pool area and be happy. Massive kids area that has only one way in/out (and an emergency exit). 6 slides, yes 6! 2 for "bigger kids" and 4 smaller ones. Additionally, in a separate area across a hall, a big main pool (indoor/outdoor) with multiple bubble stations. Location: Middle of Lermoos, which is centrally located in the Tyrol - Zugspitz area. Amazing views. Walk across the street to a large ski lift complex. Parking: They will park your car and take your bags from your car to your room and when leaving from your room to your car (I wish every hotel had this).

What a great experience! Amazing family-hotel with a wonderful service team. Every single person working there was very kind, smiling, greeting us, from the gentleman outside taking care of the outdoor facilities to the lady-chef thanking us for making pictures and appreciating their food-creations. Sandor Papp at the restaurant service team was one of the kindest and most attentive waiters we’ve met. :-) Thank you, everyone, for making us feel so comfortable! The hotel itself is a real paradise for parents and kids. Our children are 9 months and 2,5 years old and they both had such a fun time. Beautiful location, very well taken care facilities with an eye into detail. We’re looking forward to coming back soon!

My family and close friends recently had the pleasure of staying at the Alpenrose - Familux Resort, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking location and 360 views from the resort. My family and I stayed in a spacious 3-room suite with our 3 boys, which was very comfortable with spacious. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. We enjoyed the fantastic spa and wellness center, which offered a range of treatments, relaxation options, including a beautiful saunas. The kids had a blast in the kids clubs and enjoyed all the activities. Overall, our stay at Alpenrose - Familux Resort was great and definitely will return in the future.
